• 電力系統を構成する送電線などの電力系統が落雷などによって故障し、その故障を電力系統から 取り除くまでの時間が0.5Cycle〜1秒間持続し、実効値の電圧が0.1〜0.9pu以内に減少する現象。

    ほとんど10CYCLE未満、60％以上のVoltage Sag
    - 産業現場での瞬時電圧低下及び瞬時停電が時々発生
    - 系統上の短絡事故、落雷及び大容量負荷のスイッチング
    - 持続時間は主に10cycle未満、サイズは60％以上

  • - A sudden and momentary drop in supply voltage (10% - 90%), typically for the duration of 0.5 – 50 cycles
    - Electrical networks in developed countries are vulnerable to voltage sags rather than voltage collapses due to high integrity of grid system
    - Example, in Singapore, majority of voltage disturbances are voltage sags - Performance measured in SARFI Index
    - Majority of voltage sags fall within the 60% magnitude & 300ms duration (typical fault clearing duration ~100ms)
